Benefits of a Mobile Service
In being a mobile service, we will travel to you to provide all levels of required service provision to individuals living in metro and rural areas across WA.
Our therapists being mobile takes the hassle out of travelling by making us highly accessible, but this also enables our experienced staff to see the environments in which individuals need to perform.
By stepping into the world of the individual, Interventions and recommendations are more functional and practical to apply to the individuals' day-to-day living.
Down South Therapy staff can see individuals in various environments, depending on your preference, from school, home, daycares and community venues.

Distinguished and Famous people from Moama
🚢 James Maiden
James Maiden helped establish the colonial river-crossing settlement that became Moama. Living on the New South Wales side of the Murray in the early 1840s, he worked as superintendent at Perricoota before developing a punt and related business opportunities. The crossing served livestock and people moving towards southern markets, making the shape of the riverbanks commercially important. The settlement’s early history is therefore tied to transport as much as buildings. Maiden’s enterprise was one phase in the much longer history of Yorta Yorta Country, followed by the expanding trade and rival crossings of the river towns.
🌊 Brett Sands
Brett Sands has a long working association with watersports on the Murray at Moama. His coaching and equipment business dates its activity to 1986, bringing instruction in water-skiing and related tow sports to residents and visitors. The riverfront setting provides the practical connection: skills are taught on the water, supported by a local shop and equipment knowledge. Later work with Bo continues that combination of enthusiasm, teaching and business. His contribution sits within the recreational life of the river towns, where experienced instructors help turn a holiday attempt into a sport someone can keep enjoying.
